Located in the heart of Manchester, a city bursting with character, the venue is surrounded by a vibrant cultural and social scene. There is a wealth of restaurants and bars on the doorstep and more than 2,500 hotel bedrooms within a 5-minute walk.

The city-centre location and on-site car park means the venue is easy to reach, however you chose to travel, thanks to the city’s extensive multi-modal transport network.

By Car

There is an NCP (National Car Park) directly below Manchester Central that is open 24 hours a day all year round.

By Train

It takes a little over two hours to reach Manchester from London and Manchester also has direct connections to most major UK cities. Services arrive at Piccadilly or Victoria stations where passengers can connect with Metrolink trams for easy access to the city centre. Manchester Central is a 20 minute walk from Piccadilly Station or just five minutes by taxi. Alternatively, catch a connecting train to Oxford Road Station – just five minutes from Manchester Central on foot.

Covid-19 Measures

BEFORE THE EVENT

Test in advance

In line with manufacturing best practice, we encourage all attendees to take a COVID-19 test before arrival. Plan ahead to make sure you know where you are going and what you need to do in order to contribute to the safety and awareness of yourself and other attendees.

Stay home if you are unwell

If you are suffering from any fever or other Covid-19 symptoms before the event, then please make sure you stay at home and follow the current government guidance.

DURING THE EVENT

Your safety is of utmost importance to us, so during the event we ask that you follow the below requirements in order to collaboratively do what you can to help minimise any risk.

 

FACE MASKS

We do encourage you to wear face masks, but as per government advice these are no longer compulsory. We do, however, urge you to wear a mask when in high density areas and whilst queueing for food.

CLEANING

We will uphold the highest standards of cleaning throughout the event and ask that you contribute to this by being mindful of what you dispose of and where.

VENTILATION

To keep a fresh air circulation moving during the event, there will be an increase in ventilation in line with government advice.

WRISTBAND COLOUR CODING

We will be providing colour coded wristbands for our attendees to communicate how comfortable they are with interaction with others in response to COVID-19 lifted restrictions.

  • Green – I’m happy to mix and am open to contact
  • Amber – Happy to fist bump but let’s be careful
  • Red – I’d like to talk but do not feel comfortable touching, please give me some distance

HYGIENE

Hand sanitisers will be readily available throughout the venue. We encourage you to also bring our own sanitiser to apply when you enter and leave conference room. Please continue to follow guidance and wash your hands frequently.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Due to the lifted restrictions, there will be normal seating within the conference room, but we will also be providing more socially distanced areas for those who would be more comfortable with this. We encourage you to please maintain a safe distance from other attendees throughout the event.
